Our Art History course explores the history of Western art up to the late 1800s while focusing on key periods and styles. Develop an aesthetic appreciation and understanding of art and artifacts through lectures, discussions, slides, films, field trips and hands-on projects. This history of art course also looks at how (at various times) creativity and cultural imagination has been altered or influenced by religion and social circumstance.
