Advanced Welding Practical Skills WELD 9041

Our Advanced Welding Practical Skills course uses the CWB Group's Learning Resources framework to provide you with in-shop practice opportunities that help you build on the welding skills you learned in our Welding Fundamentals Program. Explore welding techniques in shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW), and get practical experience as you further develop your skills in the flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions.

Course Essentials:

You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our Welding Fundamentals Program. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
