Knife Skills Workshop HOSF 9444 Workshop Email to a Friend Knives are the most important tools in any chef’s kitchen. In our Knife Skills Workshop course, build your confidence with knives and become safe, comfortable and efficient in their use. Practice sharpening methods – a core foundational skill which will be indispensable as you develop your culinary repertoire. Learn basic skills such as slicing, dicing, chopping and mincing through hands-on practice with your sharpened knives. You will receive a chef’s knife to use in this workshop and to take home to your own kitchen. Note(s) If you have previously taken classes at the Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts, you must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to class. If you are new to the college and have not taken prior classes, you must bring closed-toe shoes (non-slip, steel-toe, flat black leather shoes are preferred).
