Biography:
Kaz Anwar is an executive leader with experience in the fields of government, community development, and education. As a senior management executive within various levels of government, he has led major initiatives in strategic planning, investigations, and organizational change management. His work emphasizes advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility across public and not-for-profit sectors while building organizational and community capacity. He has also taught at various universities and colleges across Ontario, delivering courses in training and development; labour relations; human resources; strategic management; and community, economic, and social development. In addition to both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in business administration, Kaz holds postgraduate credentials in strategic management/leadership and labour relations. He is also a certified member of several professional bodies, including the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Human Resources Professionals Association (HRPA), and the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP).
