Future of Food Technology AGRI 9002
Our Future of Food Technology course teaches you about the complexity of food innovation and helps you build the critical knowledge you need to make informed decisions as a consumer, an advocate, a food entrepreneur, or a policy professional. The way food is grown, transformed, transported, and cultured is changing faster than at any point in human history. From lab-grown meats and plant-based proteins to insect farming, precision fermentation, and bioengineered crops, new food technologies are raising profound questions about what we eat, how it is produced, who benefits, and what risks are involved. Learn about the history, science, business, ethics, and regulatory landscape of next-generation food systems.
This course has been designed and developed by George Brown Polytechnic Continuing Education in partnership with STEM Minds and Boreal Farms.
