Seniors (Age 65+)

  • If you are a senior (a person who is at least 65 years old by the start date of a course), you are entitled to a 20% discount on tuition for all Continuing Education courses (excluding technical training courses). This discount applies to the base tuition and not to materials fees or other related course fees.
  • Seniors are eligible to take a maximum of two courses per term, and George Brown College reserves the right to limit the number of seniors enrolling with discounted tuition in any one course.
  • There is an active Seniors' Association at the college. For details about programs or upcoming activities for seniors, call 416-415-5000, ext. 2418.
  • In order to receive the discount while college buildings are closed, you must email the registration department at cereg@georgebrown.ca with your full name, the name of the course you are interested in, the CRN of the section in which you wish to register and a copy of a piece of government-issued identification that shows your age (for example, a driver's licence). Once you are registered, the registration department will send you information about how to pay online through your student account (STU-VIEW) using your student ID number and password.
