Seniors (Age 65+)

  • If you are a senior (a person who is at least 65 years old by the start date of a course), you are entitled to a 20% discount on tuition for all Continuing Education courses (excluding technical training courses). This discount applies to the base tuition and not to materials fees or other related course fees.
  • Seniors are eligible to take a maximum of two courses per term, and George Brown College reserves the right to limit the number of seniors enrolling with discounted tuition in any one course.
  • There is an active Seniors' Association at the college. For details about programs or upcoming activities for seniors, call 416-415-5000, ext. 2418.
  • In order to receive the discount while college buildings are closed, you must email the registration department at with your full name, the name of the course you are interested in, the CRN of the section in which you wish to register and a copy of a piece of government-issued identification that shows your age (for example, a driver's licence). Once you are registered, the registration department will send you information about how to pay online through your student account (STU-VIEW) using your student ID number and password.
