Real Estate for Law Clerks LAW 9018
Our Real Estate for Law Clerks course is equivalent to the Real Estate course offered by the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO). Intended for experienced legal assistants or law clerks, this real estate law course provides a broad foundation in residential real estate. Learn about all aspects of the basic residential real estate transaction in Ontario, including purchasing, selling, agreement of purchase and sale, financing, land division, land registration, ownership, applicable statutes, surveys, title insurance, closing, and more.

This course can help you prepare to write the ILCO Real Estate exam (not included). You must register in and pay for this course through George Brown College and register in and pay for the Real Estate exam through the ILCO. ILCO exams are written according to the ILCO exam schedules. To sit the exam, you must submit the online ILCO Provincial Real Estate Exam registration form before the ILCO exam registration deadline. For more information, visit the ILCO Real Estate Exam Policies and Registration Forms web page. Your final grade will be issued by the ILCO after you complete the exam.
Recommendations
You will have the most success in this course if you already have a secondary school diploma and two years of related work experience in the legal field and a good command of written English before you start this course.
