Public Speaking COMM 9091

On Campus

Our Public Speaking course recognizes that the ability to communicate effectively is the most valued skill in today's job market. Learn to improve your ability to communicate (and overcome any fear of public speaking) through extensive practice, feedback from peers, videotaped self-evaluation and one-on-one coaching. Explore seven presentation styles.

If English is your second language and you feel your accent gets in the way of effective communication, you will have the most success in this course if you have already completed our COMM 9038 Improving Pronunciation course before you start this course.
