Plumbing: Practical Applications BLDG 9253

Our Plumbing: Practical Applications course provides hands-on experience in joining pipes and pipe fittings. Learn about the various piping and fitting types and how they are used in typical plumbing systems for single-family dwellings. Practice measuring, cutting, and joining plumbing pipe and fittings and using branch fittings for plumbing stacks, wastes, and vents. Get the skills you need to work with a variety of materials (such as plastic drains, water pipe, and copper pipe) as well as thread pipe and set plumbing fixtures.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our BLDG 9254 Mathematics for Plumbers and Pipefitters (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must have and wear your own CSA-approved safety footwear and protective eyewear while in shop areas.
