Our Microservices and Service Technology Fundamentals course provides a comprehensive introduction to service-oriented computing and covers the core concepts, technologies, and models that define modern service-based solutions. Gain an understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and cloud-based service technologies as well as with their roles in enabling scalable, flexible, and interoperable software systems. Also explore what aspects of business and technology must be considered when designing and implementing microservices and service-based solutions.
This course has been designed and developed by George Brown College Continuing Education in partnership with Arcitura.

Exam Policies:
This course includes an exam voucher, which entitles you to one attempt at the Arcitura Microservice Professional Certification exam. To request an exam voucher, you must contact the Program Co-ordinator, Olena Gubych, at olena.gubych@georgebrown.ca within your course section dates. The exam will be administered online through Pearson Vue or Arcitura. You will have 110 minutes to complete the exam. (The exam structure and duration is subject to change without notice.) At the exam, you must present photo identification.
