Our German Language Fundamentals Program meets the needs of those who wish to develop or improve their German for use in everyday situations. Our live, teacher-led classes allow you to practice your speaking and listening skills through interactive exercises with peers. This German program also allows you to improve your grammar and writing skills. Learn the fundamentals and develop the skills you need to communicate in German as you gain insights into German culture, both past and present.
If you have no previous German language experience, we recommend you begin with our LANG 9090 German Fundamentals 1 (Online) course. If you have previous German language experience and you would like to have your language skills assessed to determine the most suitable course for you to begin with, we recommend you do a placement interview with us.
Once you have completed all the requirements of this program, you can request to receive a certificate of completion using the department contact information on this web page.
