Our Film Studies course explores the technical aspects of filmmaking, the historical development of film innovation, and the interpretive models of film analysis. Learn about film structure, camera use, lighting and editing while examining Hollywood, international cinema, film interpretation and film theories.
General Education Elective Credit:
This Continuing Education course is accepted as credit towards the General Education Elective requirements of most full-time diploma and certificate programs. Make sure you check with the General Electives Office at LASelectives@georgebrown.ca before you register to make sure it meets the General Education elective requirements for your program.
You will have the most success in this course if you already have Grade 12 English before you start this course.
