Our Dental Radiography: HARP Safety and Compliance Refresher is a hands-on review course designed for dental assistants, hygienists, dentists, and x-ray operators who are Healing Arts Radiation Protection (HARP) Act certified and who want to stay confident, compliant, and inspection ready. Dental staff who are not HARP certified but who have responsibility for inspections may also benefit from this course. This HARP refresher course reviews essential aspects of equipment handling, safety protocols, and radiographic techniques in George Brown’s state-of-the-art dental radiography clinic. Learn the practical strategies used to help dental teams prepare for public health inspections and work in compliance with the HARP Act and its regulations, including adherence to both Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) and Radiation Safety requirements. For those transitioning from film to digital sensors, this course gives you the opportunity to practice using new equipment. Finally, strengthen the skills you need to support a confident and professional dental practice by focusing on communication and patient care.
