Our Data Science Governance course provides you with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, techniques, and technologies involved in developing and managing data processing solutions in big data environments. Learn foundational data engineering concepts (including the storage and processing of large-scale datasets) while exploring essential technologies such as MapReduce and NoSQL. Build on these concepts by studying advanced techniques, including in-memory data storage, real-time data processing, and graph data analysis. Develop an understanding of governance frameworks, the compliance considerations for effective data management, and the design and implementation of big data pipelines.

This course has been designed and developed by George Brown College Continuing Education in partnership with Arcitura.

Exam Policies:

This course includes an exam voucher, which entitles you to one attempt at the Arcitura Data Science Governance Specialist Certification exam. To request an exam voucher, you must contact the Program Co-ordinator, Olena Gubych, at olena.gubych@georgebrown.ca within your course section dates. The exam will be administered online through Pearson Vue or Arcitura. You will have 110 minutes to complete the exam. (The exam structure and duration is subject to change without notice.) At the exam, you must present photo identification.
