Our Cookies 1 course teaches you the different mixing methods and shaping techniques used to create cookies with a variety of ingredients, textures, forms, and sizes. Explore the different methods used to make cookies that incorporate a wide range of ingredients and flavours. Learn to create a variety of styles (including wafer, icebox, drop, rolled, and piped cookies) as you practice making madeleines, spiced shortbread, pizzelle, snickerdoodles, pinwheels, chocolate chip cookies, and more.

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
