Our Breads course teaches you to bake both pan- and hearth-type breads using a variety of flours and ingredients. Demonstrations of techniques and methods are followed by hands-on practice making such breads as challah, basic sourdough, whole wheat, pitas and focaccia.

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 9134 Baking Arts course or our HOSF 9461 Baking Arts (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
