Our Architectural Technology 3 course teaches you basic architectural design principles for mixed-use commercial/residential buildings. Focus on designs that employ engineered wood products for floor and roof framing systems as well as solid and/or cavity wall systems. Learn how to incorporate these concepts into architectural and structural working drawings using AutoCAD then develop your skills by creating and presenting conceptual drawings and models.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our ARCH 9013 Architectural Technology 2 course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Recommendations

You will have the most success in this course if you already have some knowledge of basic AutoCAD drawing set-up and AutoCAD construction and editing tools before you start this course.
