Maria Mak

Maria Mak is a fashion design professional with extensive experience in activewear, textiles, and women’s and children’s apparel. Maria has led design teams, developed private labels, and collaborated with international manufacturers to deliver market-ready, brand-aligned products. She works to integrate creative vision with industry-focused execution across all stages of the apparel production cycle. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Design in Fashion from Toronto Metropolitan University, Maria has received notable recognition for her work, including a 2013 Bronze DFA Design for Asia Award from the Hong Kong Design Centre (which honours her contributions to sustainable and functional design) and a 2016 40 Under 40 Award from Perspective Magazine.
