Biography:

Katherine Bosnitch is a visual artist, teacher, and author. She holds both a diploma and a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in fashion from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University) as well as a Master of Arts degree in art history from Concordia University. As an artist, she has contributed illustrations to a range of paper products, textiles, books, magazines, and advertising campaigns in Canada and abroad. Katherine is passionately interested in fashion illustration and has long sought to bring critical attention to the subject. One example of this work is her article "A Little on the Wild Side: Eaton's Prestige Fashion Advertising Published in the Montreal Gazette, 1952-72", which was published in Fashion: A Canadian Perspective.
