Our American Sign Language Basics course is an introduction to American Sign Language (ASL). This sign language course includes both a linguistic component and a cultural component. The linguistic component teaches you how to exchange personal information, identify others, give simple directions, and discuss the immediate environment in sign language in ASL. The cultural component includes an introduction to Deaf culture and the Deaf community.
