Our HVAC House 2012 course is an overview/refresher course for experienced practitioners. This building code course helps you review and become more familiar with the parts of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) dealing with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) for houses. Based on the HVAC House Syllabus (2012), the curriculum focuses on Division A and Division B (particularly Parts 1, 6, 9, 11, and 12) of the OBC.

Note(s)

This course can help you prepare to write the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) HVAC–House exam (not included). The MMAH exam is administered by Humber College. For more information, visit the Ontario Building Code Examinations website.

You must have a general understanding of the building construction process and basic blueprint reading skills.
