Our Nutrition course is a theoretical and practical study of the gastrointestinal system as well as energy sources and uses. Learn basic principles of the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, vitamins and minerals, and participate in detailed discussions of nutrient functions.

This course will be accepted as credit towards the General Education elective requirements of most full-time diploma and certificate programs. You will have the most success in this course if you already have Grade 12 English before you start this course.
