Our Foods of the World course provides an introduction to seven international cuisines: Chinese, Thai, Indian, Italian, Japanese, Mexican and Middle Eastern. Working in pairs, practice international culinary techniques through interactive demonstrations and practical labs. Add valuable skills to your portfolio by learning the basics of sushi, curries, spice blends and flatbreads, and study the steps involved in effective action plans.

Course Essentials:

You must bring your full George Brown chef uniform, black safety shoes (non-slip and steel toe) and tools to the first class.

Prerequisites

You must have completed our HOSF 1221 Fundamentals of Butchery course or our HOSF 1222 Café Production course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
