Building Services 2012 BLDG 9258
Our Building Services 2012 course is an overview/refresher course for experienced practitioners. This building code course helps you review and become more familiar with the parts of the Ontario Building Code (OBC) dealing with building services. The curriculum is based on Building Services Syllabus (2012) and focuses on Division B Parts 3, 9, 11, and 12 of the OBC as well as Supplementary Standards SB-1, SB-2, SB-4, SB-10, and SB-12.

This course can help you prepare to write the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (MMAH) Building Services exam (not included). The MMAH exam is administered by Humber College. For more information, visit the Ontario Building Code Examinations website.
Prerequisites
You must have a general understanding of the building construction process and basic blueprint reading skills.
Recommendations
You will have the most success in this course if you have already completed the following three courses before you start this course:

You must have a copy of the 2012 Building Code Compendium before you begin this course. The compendium is available for purchase through the George Brown College bookstore, at our Building Code and Trade Manuals website, and at the Publications Ontario website.
