The college encourages healthy attitudes and behaviours towards sexuality, sex and gender roles. The college does not tolerate behaviour contributing to a hostile and inequitable environment and is committed to supporting those who experience sexual assault and sexual violence.
- The George Brown College Sexual Assault and Sexual Violence Policy and Protocol provides procedures and resources to individuals and groups who may be directly or indirectly impacted by sexual violence. It provides clear definitions of sexual assault and sexual violence, sets clear standards for reporting and responding to incidents and establishes clear processes for complaints and investigations. It also includes actions to maintain confidentiality and to protect those who report sexual violence from retaliation or threats.
