Our Revit for Architecture 1: Introduction course covers basic Revit building information modelling (BIM) concepts. Learn about project creation, basic display, components, levels, walls, doors, windows, floor and roof objects, stairs and railings, view properties, family components, dimensions, basic annotations, drawing sheets and plotting procedures.
Course Delivery Method:
This is an online course with continuous intake registration. That means this course does not have traditional start/end dates. You can register at any time throughout the year (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), and you will have 90 calendar days from the day you receive the course details to complete the course. (Teacher support will be available via email.) Make sure to register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to start the course (keeping in mind that you will receive your course details approximately a week after you register).
Free Revit software is available for this course. (System requirements for Revit will be specific to the version of Revit you are using.) Refer to the basic technology requirements for online courses and to the System Requirements for Autodesk Revit Products web page, but note that you will also be required to have an extra 4 GB of hard drive space to download the course materials. (Alternatively, DVD sets containing the course materials are available upon request. Contact the course co-ordinator for information about the technical /computer requirements for DVD sets. Note: DVDs are temporarily unavailable while college buildings are closed.)
