Our Red Seal Welder Exam Preparation course – offered in partnership with the CWBi – provides a comprehensive review of the knowledge required by welders who want to challenge the Red Seal Welder exam. The Red Seal Program gives experienced tradespeople the opportunity to demonstrate that they meet national standards so they can work in other provinces or supervise future apprentices. This exam preparation course is also an opportunity for review for apprentices who intend to write their certification exam because it covers the technical content of the Welder National Occupation Analysis (NOA).
You must have completed our Welding Fundamentals Program or you must have at least two years of welding experience.
Disclaimer: This exam preparation course is not intended to replace industry experience. Additionally, completing this exam preparation course does not guarantee that you will be able to write the Red Seal Welder exam. The eligibility and other requirements of the Red Seal Welder exam are set by the Government of Ontario and its Red Seal Program, not George Brown College. To pursue the Red Seal Welder exam, you must follow the process listed on the Ontario College of Trades website and the Red Seal website and meet the requirements applicable to you.
