Students will become familiar with a wide range of activities, responsibilities and document preparation in the complex area of civil litigation process including Small Claims Court, Superior Court, Family Law, Collections and Enforcement proceedings.

You must have completed both OP 9021 Legal Terminology (Distance Learning) and LAW 9099 Legal Office Procedures (Distance Learning). (Approved equivalents are also acceptable. The discontinued BUS 9139 Introduction to Legal Office Practice and Procedures [Introduction to Legal Office Practice and Procedures] course will be accepted in place of LAW 9099 Legal Office Procedures (Distance Learning).)
