Our Linux Management course provides you with a working knowledge of the installation and management of a Linux server. Learn how to configure user accounts and manage file permissions within a shared environment and how to configure a network to allow workstations to connect to a Linux server. Get the skills you need to be able to back up and restore a server in the event of a failure, to protect and secure server resources through data and file management, to automate routine system tasks through shell scripting, and to monitor and configure a server for peak performance using Linux utilities.
Prerequisites
You must have completed our COMP 9661 Understanding Linux (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
