Our Korean Language Program meets the needs of those who wish to develop or improve their Korean for use in the workplace and in everyday situations. Learn the fundamentals and develop the skills you need to communicate in Korean as you gain insights into Korean culture, both past and present.
There are no prerequisites if you choose to start this program with our introductory LANG 9071 Korean 1 course. However, if you have previous Korean language experience and wish to fast-track this program, you must either do a placement interview (so we can determine your Korean language proficiency and the course most suitable for you to start with) or you must apply for course exemptions (if you have completed the equivalent courses at an accredited post-secondary institution within the last three to five years).
Once you have completed all the requirements of this program with a cumulative grade average of B (73%) or better, you can request to receive a certificate of completion.
