Our Korean Language Fundamentals Program meets the needs of those who wish to develop or improve their Korean for use in the workplace and in everyday situations. Our live, teacher-led classes allow you to practice your speaking and listening skills through interactive exercises with peers. Learn the fundamentals and develop the skills you need to communicate in Korean as you gain insights into Korean culture, both past and present.
If you have no previous Korean language experience, we recommend you begin with LANG 9071 Korean Fundamentals 1 (Online). If you have previous Korean language experience and you would like to have your language skills assessed to determine the most suitable course for you to begin with, we recommend you do a placement interview with us.
Once you have completed all the requirements of this program, you can request to receive a certificate of completion using the department contact information on this web page.
