Our IT Management in the Digital Age course takes a 360-degree view of an IT manager's role (from strategic thinking to tactical deployment). Get an introduction to enterprise IT governance frameworks that ensure the alignment of IT departmental goals with business objectives. Study IT capability and capacity management models, and learn how to plan, develop, and deploy human resources to fulfill corresponding IT functions. Examine sourcing strategies for non-essential, routine, and selective IT functions, and consider why and how cloud services can be deployed as an effective sourcing tool. Finally, learn how to harness big data, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other emerging technologies to create an IT innovation centre that enables business solutions and supports the company’s digital transformation journey.
