Course Essentials:

You must have ArcGIS software, but the textbook includes a fully functioning 180-day trial of the software, which can be downloaded from the internet along with the data needed to work through the book's exercises. The ArcGIS software requires you to have a Windows operating system, a minimum of 2.2 GHz processing speed, 2 GB RAM, 2.4 GB free hard disk space (including 50 MB on the operating system drive), and an additional 285 MB hard disk space for the exercise data. Once installed and registered, the single-use software cannot be re-installed.

Prerequisites

You must have completed COMP 9518 Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (Online). (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
