Our Economics of Building Development course helps you expand your estimating and cost planning knowledge. Learn the fundamentals of outline specifications and preliminary estimating in relation to feasibility studies for construction projects. Analyze financing arrangements and life-cycle costing associated with the economics of development.

You must have completed our BLDG 9080 Cost Planning (Online) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)

Course Essentials:

You must have a copy of Construction Budgeting before you begin this course. It is available for purchase at the George Brown College bookstore and at the CIQS website.

Exam Policies:

Final exams for all Estimating and Quantity Surveying online courses and some construction online courses are held on the same date in each term. If you are planning to register for more than one course in the same term, email cetech_construct@georgebrown.ca before you register.
