Our Cultural Approaches to Health Care and Healing course explores cross-cultural beliefs, practices and attitudes regarding health, sickness and healing. Learn about the influence of religion and moral concerns on notions of illness and healing in many cultures. Consider the interrelationship of traditional medicine, current alternative therapies in North America and the medical culture in the West.
