OntarioLearn description: The maximization of shareholders' wealth is the main objective of profit seeking organizations. Utilizing this concept, students will examine basic concepts of financial management and the analytical tools which aid in financial decision making. This course explores the finance function of an operating business and examines the valuation of bonds and shares as well as capital budgeting decisions and risk assessment. Students will use financial models in a variety of situations and make informed decisions.
