A professional home inspector is required to describe – both verbally and in writing – the inspection process and communicate inspection findings to clients. Offered in partnership with Carson Dunlop, our Communication for Home Inspectors course teaches you how to communicate clearly and effectively in order to ensure that clients understand their inspection results and reports. Develop your oral and written communication skills, and learn the reporting and conduct requirements you will need as a home inspector.
This course is recognized by the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) as an accredited home inspection course and meets part of the requirements for becoming a registered home inspector (RHI). RHI designation requirements are set by the OAHI, not George Brown College. To pursue the RHI designation, you must follow the process listed on the OAHI website and meet the requirements applicable to you. For more information about the RHI designation, visit the OAHI website.
