Study models for planning and organizing what you are going to communicate, and apply those models in a variety of situations. Learn the techniques you need to improve your critical thinking, researching and self-editing.

You must have completed our ENGL 1030 Skills for College English course or you must complete the General English Assessment and score high enough to be assigned to College English. (You must complete the General English Assessment at a George Brown College campus assessment centre.) You must present proof that you have met the prerequisite requirement at the first class. If you have not met the prerequisite requirement by the first class, you will be withdrawn from the course.
