Course Delivery Method:
This is an online course with continuous intake registration. That means this course does not have traditional start/end dates. You can register at any time throughout the year (24 hours a day, 7 days a week), and you will have 90 calendar days from the day you receive the course details/materials to complete the course. (Teacher support will be available via email.) Make sure to register in the section (CRN) with the Date(s) range that includes the date on which you plan to start the course (keeping in mind that you will receive your course details/materials approximately a week after you register).
Free AutoCAD software is available for this course, but system requirements for AutoCAD will be specific to the version of AutoCAD you are using. (This course was developed using the Windows version of AutoCAD. If you are using a Mac computer, contact the department co-ordinator for assistance.) Also refer to the basic technology requirements for online courses, but note that you will also be required to have an extra 4 GB of hard drive space to download the course materials. (Alternatively, DVD sets containing the course materials are available upon request, though DVDs are temporarily unavailable while college buildings are closed.)
You must have completed our CADE 9116 AutoCAD 2: Intermediate 2D course or our CADE 9126 AutoCAD 2: Intermediate 2D (Distance Learning) course. (An approved equivalent is also acceptable.)
