Welding IV WELD 9041 New Email to a Friend Our Welding IV course uses the CWBi Acorn framework to provide a combination of theoretical and practical learning opportunities that build on the welding skills you learned in our WELD 9040 (Welding III) course. Explore welding procedures, layout techniques, basic flux-cored arc welding (FACW) and air carbon arc gouging. Learn to identify welding symbols and utilize techniques required to produce quality welds using shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) and gas metal arc welding (GMAW) processes. Develop the ability to interpret common metalworking field drawings. Understand and be able to visualize orthographic projection drawings and interpret specified welding information.
