Web Application Data Services COMP 9583 Blended Email to a Friend Through our Web Application Data Services course, study such database concepts as understanding entities, database normalization, creating tables and writing stored procedures to insert, update and delete data. Learn to use ADO.NET to read and write data from a wide variety of data sources. Also learn how to bind data to web controls and how to create a data class layer to interact with a database. Approximately half of the course (24 hours) is held in class with a teacher; the remaining hours involve self-directed work. You will be required to provide your own Visual Web Developer software (which can be downloaded free from the Internet) and have regular access to the Internet and email for the self-directed work.
