TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam EX 02

Our TSSA Gas Technician 2 Exam marks the completion of the theoretical/written portion of the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Gas Technician 2 certification. TSSA training and certification policies and procedures require you to pass the Gas Technician 2 exam within one year of the date you complete the training.

Exam Policies:

Exams are special ordered, so you must register at least 40 days prior to the scheduled exam date to ensure your exam arrives in time. At the exam, you must present a valid government-issued photo identification, a receipt of payment and your valid G.3 licence. Only the CSA Group hard-copy code books will be allowed in the exam room. If you need to withdraw or transfer to another section, you must do so a minimum of 15 business days prior to the original exam date or you will forfeit the exam fee. There are no refunds for unwritten exams.

Prerequisites

You must have completed both our HVAC 9054 Gas Technician 2A course and our HVAC 9055 Gas Technician 2B course (or the George Brown College post-secondary Gas Technician II course) and you must have completed the courses within the one year TSSA time limit with at least an 80% attendance record, a grade average of 75% (or greater) on the theoretical education and a grade average of 75% (or greater) on the practical training.
