    The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) offers The Commissioning Process and LEED Documentation course as part of their LEED Strategic Practices (LSP) Program. This intensive LEED course helps you understand the benefits of building commissioning (Cx) as well as the responsibilities of the commissioning authority. It also covers the Cx process and the documentation requirements as applied in LEED projects (including the differences between the prerequisite and the credit requirements) and briefly discusses the Zero Carbon Building Standard and its relationship to commissioning.

    Course Delivery Method:

    This is an online course delivered through CaGBC Central, an interactive e-learning platform. It consists of a combination of recorded videos, individual assignments and assessments. Each week, you will be required to view the presentation, complete one or more assignments and complete an assessment. You will have six weeks from the day you receive access to the course to complete the course. (Online instructional support will be available.) Once you complete the course, you will be able to download a certificate of completion directly from the course’s virtual classroom.

    At this time, the course will be heavily focused on LEED 2009 due to the high volume of 2009 project submissions expected over the next two to three years.
