Telecommunications 2 TELC 9001 Email to a Friend Our Telecommunications 2 course helps you gain a full understanding of high-speed Internet, asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) and very-high-bit-rate digital subscriber line (VDSL) services. Learn how to wire POTS (“plain old telephone service”) lines and high-speed Internet services. Also learn how to install and repair a digital subscriber line (DSL) and how Internet Protocol television (IPTV) and the Internet Protocol (IP) phone works on a DSL. Investigate the causes of errors and slowdowns on DSLs. Explore the movement from copper to fibre optic cabling and how single-mode optical fibre cables carry phone signals and high-speed Internet data to multiple customers.
