    Biography:

    Kate Lushington has worked as a writer, director and dramaturge in Canadian theatre for over 35 years. She has been Artistic Director for both the Nightwood Theatre and the Groundswell Festival and recently directed a script for the Summerworks Festival. Her version of Josef Skvorecky's The Bass Saxophone for CBC Radio won a Nellie (National Radio Award) for best dramatic adaptation.
