    Brian Hill


    Brian Hill has over 35 years’ experience in project management, engineering and teaching. For over 15 years, he has taught project management, risk management and negotiating courses for George Brown College, Humber College and many large clients, including the City of Toronto, the City of Brampton, the City of Guelph, the Canadian Coast Guard, McMaster Health Centre’s information technology department, Teledyne Optech, Unigraphics, banks and insurance companies. Brian has spent a large part of his career as a program manager in the aerospace industry, including such projects as the Moon Express lunar lander program, OSIRIS (NASA’s comet rendezvous and return mission), NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander, the Canadian Space Station joint endeavour program, the Canadian Space Agency’s RADARSAT solar arrays, the European HERMES robotic arm concept studies, and numerous research and development activities. He was a representative for the NASAJSC Satellite Servicing steering committee and served as a senior technical committee member for the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He has been recognized for his work on various aerospace programs and proposals. Brian graduated in mechanical engineering in the United Kingdom and obtained his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in Canada. He is a former member of the board of directors for the Southern Ontario chapter of the Project Management Institute, where he was responsible for professional development and acted as mentoring coordinator.
