Skin Care 2 FASH 9227 Email to a Friend Our Skin Care 2 course explores techniques and treatments that deal with more advanced skin issues (acne, pigmentation, aging, rosacea). Get the knowledge and skills you need to be able to customize skin care treatments, perform manual lymphatic drainage massage and recommend at-home skin care routines. Gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in oxygen facial treatments using state-of-the-art equipment. Classes occasionally feature industry guest speakers and representatives from skin care product lines who help you become more familiar with the esthetics industry. Practice what you learn by performing services – on classmates, models and clients – in the classroom and in the school spa. Public health standards, personal appearance, professionalism, etiquette and communication are integral parts of this course. Note(s) Classroom and Exam Policies: You will be required to work on other students and to let other students work on you in order to gain the skills you need to work on models and clients. You will also be required to bring your own model on occasion and for practical exams. Dress Code: You will be required to wear comfortable shoes, our esthetics uniform and no enhancements on your nails at all times in class. If you do not already own one, you must purchase our uniform from the Makeup and Esthetics Student Store at a cost of $90 (plus tax).
