• Security, Intelligence and Counterterrorism Certificate

Our Security, Intelligence and Counterterrorism Certificate examines the nature of terrorism and security from the legal, political, economic, psychological and sociological perspectives of a first responder. Explore threat and risk assessment processes and the counterterrorism and cybersecurity measures used to protect both people and property. Consider national and international security issues, and apply the specific strategies of a disaster recovery model to a case study or simulated terrorist event.

You must have a clear criminal record prior to starting our EMRG 9144 Intelligence Fundamentals course.

If you are not currently working in the security and law enforcement field or have no experience in this area of study, you will have the most success in this certificate if you have already completed our EMRG 9151 Security Guard course before you start taking the required courses.
