Sage 50 COMP 9539 Online OntarioLearn Email to a Friend OntarioLearn description: This course provides the knowledge and skills required to transfer a small to mid-size business or individual from a paper-based operation into a computerized format using Sage Software’s Sage 50. Students build a set of books for a small business which include setting up each of the individual ledger modules, exploring the features which integrate or link the modules, performing day-to-day accounting activities, and using the report features. Note(s) This is an online course delivered via OntarioLearn. Please ensure you are familiar with the technology requirements specific to this course: Hardware: Processor operating at 1.0 GHz or higher (2.0 GHz recommended) with 512 MB of RAM (1 GB recommended), 2 GB of available hard-disk space (additional 400 MB needed for installation), CD-ROM drive, 1024x768 SVGA monitor capable of displaying 256 colours Operating system: Microsoft-supported version of Windows Vista/7/8 with latest updates from Microsoft Software: Sage 50 Accounting 2015 (students will be instructed on how to install a free Student Version of the software in the first week of the course) and Internet Explorer 7 or later Teacher support (via email) and technical support (via phone) will be available for this course.
