Research Skills SSCI 9012 Online OntarioLearn Email to a Friend OntarioLearn description: This course has been designed to assist students in further developing their abilities to effectively evaluate information and problem solve. It is a research course from a consumer’s point of view. Students will be provided with skills to detect misinformation and skills in applying good information. These skills will be developed by learning the essentials of social science research, how to locate and evaluate research, and finally, through practical experience in applying the information gathered. Note(s) This is an online course delivered via OntarioLearn. Please ensure you are familiar with the basic technology requirements for OntarioLearn online courses. You will also be required to have Microsoft Word (you must submit assignments in Word format) and to have access to a video camera (you must record and post oral presentations).
